Gunpowder tea gets its name from the appearance of the leaves, which are rolled tightly into small, round greyish-green pellets ranging from pinhead to pea leaf resembling old-fashioned gunpowder. The tight roll helps Gunpowder remain fresher longer than other teas. Bittersweet, Pungent with smoky aroma. The cup is medium body.
