Notes of apricot and milk chocolate with a peach acidity.

Description

This coffee comes to us from the farm of Maximiliano Campo in Loma Larga, Colombia. The climate in Loma Larga is considered to be that of a tropical monsoon, meaning that the area receives consistent rainfall and moderate temperatures throughout most of the year.
Conditions such as these are perfect for growing coffee, but can also incubate the potential for a fungus that attacks coffee “Roya.” To prevent this from occurring, the Colombian government developed bean varieties, Colombia and Castillo, that are rust and fungal resistant. This coffee is comprised of both of these varietals, meaning that its defects are at a minimum.
Expect notes of apricot and milk chocolate accompanied by a medium body clean, peach acidity.
